Streetscape

The Streetscape Committee is a joint effort of the City of Oroville and the Oroville Chamber of Commerce.  Our Committee’s focus is to enhance the downtown core to make shopping and living in and around Oroville a pleasurable experience.

We do the following:

Create a positive architectural vista: we brainstorm ideas for the businesses to consider, including paint schemes, signage and creative curb appeal innovations.

Enhance the ambiance: we hang flowers baskets from ornamental brackets throughout the downtown core and plant sidewalk containers.  We landscape and plant empty spaces within the City with flowers each spring.

CENTENNIAL PARK at 1415 Main Street. Construction co-ordinated by Hillary Blackler, Joan Cool and Barb Drummond  for the Streetscape Committee and Rod Noel for the City of Oroville.
